Congressional Candidate Crotts Endorsed by Insurance Association

McDONOUGH, GA - State Senator Mike Crotts, a candidate for Georgia's 8th Congressional District seat has received the endorsement of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA), the national organization of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG).

In Georgia, IIAG represents over 750 small business insurance agencies, and nationally IIABA is made up of Independent Insurance Agents in all 50 states. State Senator Crotts has "a consistent pro-business record...", says Gould B. Hagler, Jr., Executive Director of IIAG, whose state membership includes over 4000 insurance professionals.

"The confidence shown in me by the small business owners and agents of IIAG which helped me gain the endorsement of IIABA is a boost to my campaign as I continue to work the 18 counties in the 8th District spreading the word of my pro business platform" Crotts said.

Since announcing his candidacy Crotts has logged more than 8500 miles traveling across the District. He has met with hundreds of constituents and has recruited a network of supporters in all key counties. "As a State Senator for 11 of the 18 counties over the past 12 years I’m now ready to take the message of the people of the 8th District to Washington as Mac Collins’ successor. The people I’ve represented as a State Senator in the 8th District know I will represent their interests well in Washington, I just need to get the word out to them". Crotts succeeded Mac Collins in the Georgia State Senate 12 years ago when Collins vacated his seat to run for Congress.

Crotts is a veteran and successful businessman with a proven conservative track record, running on a platform of limited government, lower taxes, and local control of local affairs.
