On Trent Lott: The Hypocrisy Of The Left...Spelled-Out

Saturday, December 21, 2002

Hang on to those slippers Dorothy; here we go for another ride through OZ. How many have not said some unkind words at a birthday party, wedding, or wake that you didn’t really mean or were taken out of context? Some compassionate words to help glorify the moment or to ease some suffering? We all have. That’s what Sen. Trent Lott did recently for Sen. Strom Thurmond and the sharks are now circling for their usual silly feeding frenzy.

We have the segregated "Black Caucus" (that’s right segregated, as in no whites need apply) calling for his resignation. We have women’s groups (that’s right, men need not apply) calling for his resignation. We have the race hustlers Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the whining NAACP and its intolerant leadership calling for his resignation. And of course, we have the spineless GOP and its "neo-conservatives" (conservative socialists?) who would sell their mothers rather than defend or go on the offensive for being branded a racist org in the press. Pathetic!

We also have the press trying to demonize the GOP and white folks because the “white rural vote” went its way. And this is now tied to the “Trent” affair by the press. They do this because many white rural voters still respect ALL veterans, including those who defended our families during the war of the 1860’s, and not just the modern day warrior of political correctness.

I guess it never crosses the minds of the press to deal a dish of fair play and label the DNC as the socialists and racists they surely are for going after inner city blacks for votes. 'Hey man, That’s just the right to vote, Brother'. Nothing wrong with that because they vote for the DNC for the most part. If one is “racist” so is the other.

News Flash for politicians and the press---even “white rural voters” have a right to be represented by government. Even Christians have a right to be represented by government. Even those who believe abortion and the “gay agenda” is a curse upon our land have a right to be represented by government. Even those who believe the U.S. government is destroying our country with unchecked immigration policies have a right to be represented by government. They wanted our votes, now they need to represent us for a change.
