Re: Trent Lott

Sunday, December 22, 2002

Well, I have thought about the comments that were made by Mr. Lott. What is interesting from my point of view is how only one ethnic group appear to make their concerns public.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Was this period of American history referenced by Mr. Lott also a time that Jewish Americans were subjected to the same type of treatment that Black Americans received?

If I am correct why is it that the Jewish community has not responded with the same degree of public outcry as Black Americans regarding Senator Lott?

Enough already! Was that the only statement that Mr. Lott made on that fateful day or was that the only card that the media could play to the American people?
