I am going through a little process right now to upgrade some of the plug-ins that help manage parts of this site.
One of them is how people can “Subscribe-To” threads to be notified of when a thread is updated. That was upgraded tonight, but I have no idea as to whether any of your […]

I do NOT want to see any posts ranting about Michael Moore’s past work or how lefty-liberal he is.
Please READ his post from his blog about what he now thinks on Iraq and comment on whether he brings any good or really bad points up:

There’s a story in today’s AJC about the forum held last night by the Cherokee County Commission.
Now, in the print edition of the article, there is a side-by-side comparison between what a legal resident of America thinks and what an illegal resident of America thinks about the issue.
The illegal guy (named Martin Basilio) stated […]

Cherokee County, Georgia law enforcement is going after landlords that rent to illegal aliens in an effort to enforce laws the federal government refuses to do.
The landlords will be responsible for “proving” each of their tenants is a legal resident of the U.S. or else face a fine or possible suspension of their operating licenses.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle has an online survey asking site visitors if you believe Mayor Shirley Franklin went “over the line” in her recording of their 30-second rendition of “We Hate Whiteys And So Should Every Other Brotha and Sista In Atlanta” radio commercial in support of Fulton County Commissioner-elect John Eaves.
If you missed hearing […]

Just to let you know, Rush Limbaugh was the very reason I became a Republican in the early 1990s.
I had voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980 and 1984, and, I think I recall voting for Bush, Sr. in 1988. But, despite my votes, I felt like a liberal. And then, someone introduced me […]

For the 2nd time this week, I was actually stunned to hear some political news.
The first time, it was on Monday when I heard that Shirley Franklin/John Lewis race-baiting bullshit of a radio commercial.
This 2nd time was to hear Bush deciding that Rumsfeld had to go. Whaaaaaa???
Folks, just in case you are wondering, I […]

I am waiting for Rick Santorum’s dirty little secret to become exposed one day. Anybody as nutty as he is about gay people has GOT to have some deeply buried skeletons in his closets.
In the meantime, THIS IS HILARIOUS!
And, the funniest part is, the guy doesn’t deny certain parts of the story. Maybe […]

These are the people who deserve a bruising beating, once a week, for the length of time they serve in jail OR instead of killing them on Death Row, as the case may be:
Saddam Hussein: Saddam will probably be hanged for his crimes. Frankly, that’s just too damned soft of a punishment for […]

Debra Lafave, 25, who became a tabloid sensation after her arrest in 2004, also acknowledges that her victim might “have a hard time trusting women one day. I’m sure he has to be living with the guilt of - quote, unquote - ratting me out,” according to transcripts of the interview with Matt Lauer released […]

Though Bart Brannon probably won’t believe these statistics, Georgia is now somewhere between 4th and 1st in the country in home foreclosures.
Take a look at this article from The Atlanta Business Chronicle.
How do you think the rise in home foreclosures happens? Business layoffs of the residents? Or, have they been taking out highly […]
