This columnist has the right approach on the actual number-crunching of the “fair tax.”

ALSO, I’ve yet to see any article that discusses using the Fair Tax to REDUCE the size of government. With all the supposed “inefficiences” driven-out of the tax collection process, is there a guarantee that Congress will work to reduce the size of government?
