Could The "Most Important Election Of Our Time" End Up In A Tie?

Rumors have it that, on an Electoral College basis, the presidential race is in a dead heat between Bush and Kerry. This, according to the latest Zogby Interactive Poll.

And, the election has a potential to result in an electoral tie, which would then throw the election into the House of Representatives (constitutional lawyers, start your engines). To read this very interesting analysis yourself, we recommend you visit this page on Zogby.

Oh...one other thing...with CBS News finally admitting their self-inflicted case of FUBAR, we advise the reading (and, listening) public to ignore ANY poll results or analysis that has "CBS" attached as a source. But, you knew that, didn't you...?

Quickies

- Kudos to Buckhead whiz-kid Harry MacDougal for being THE guy to spot the inaccuracies of the documents on the CBS news story about President Bush's National Guard history.

- Congratulations to District 20 winner Charlice Byrd for winning 52% to 48% in the special election run-off in Cherokee County.
