Letters To Troops, Volume 1, Issue 3

Sunday, March 23, 2003

Editor's Note: We have received word that our Letters to Troops' editions are making it through the firewall of CENTCOM via an industrious e-mail forwarder, so, keep those letters coming here if you wish because they are reaching their intended targets. Also, please forward any appropriate jokes because the troops need laughs as well.

The U.S. Defense Department has setup an official website to say "Thank You" to our troops. Visit the DoD Web page below and add your name to a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S. armed services for defending our freedom, then forward this message to your friends or associates and ask them to do the same. The compiled list of names will be sent out to soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines on active duty.

Department of Defense Troop Notes

Dear Troops:

Today is March 20, 2003. Time is 12:28 P.M. EST. You are on your way and I am proud of you all. Please defend me and my family. We will take care of your families here. The lies you hear on television are by those that don't care about our security or your welfare. WE DO! If any of you or your family members are Democrats, the actions of some of Congress and the media should change your minds. Come to the Republican party and be welcomed. You are ALL in my prayers for a speedy return home.

Respectfully yours,

Thomas J. Pirkle

To great Americans Troops,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please remember when you are getting discouraged, that you are heroes to the woman, man, and child of American and many other cooperating Nations. You are blessed by every American. Stay strong while fighting to preserve life in our great Nation. Your courage and honor will always prevail. Always remember God would not put in it if he would not put you through it.

With Love,

Having come from Communist Cuba to the U.S., and having been so generously welcomed by Americans, I am forever thankful to this wonderful country and well aware of how precious freedom is. I want to thank all of our troops for fighting so that we may continue to have freedom, and so that a repressed people are liberated from tyranny. You are all heroes and my prayers are with you.

God bless the U.S.A.,

Dear Troops!

Just a simple letter of appreciation, support and genuine love for all of you and all you do. The true voice of America is unheard except for letters that you are getting via email links. The true voice of the true American is with you and so is God.

May you be given strength and wisdom at all times. We Love YOU!!!!

I just want to let the President, his staff and all the troops, no matter where they are, that the majority of individuals in the world support the actions which are being taken in the middle east. I, for one, know exactly what they are going through being away from their loved one's, family and friends at this critical time in their lives.

I too, spent 2 years in Vietnam 67-68, 71-72 and it is an awful feeling not knowing whether you would ever see your loved ones again or not. Right now is when all the training you have done in the past comes into being. You are the best trained, have the best leaders and equipment in the world and have all volunteered for what you are doing and that is to protect our freedom which also gives these protesters the right to protest the war although they are a very minority. God Be With You and God Speed Ahead.

May you all come home safely.
Thanks for everything,

Dear Soldiers in the Front,

Thank you. You are fighting for our freedom, a freedom that some have taken for granted. They don't know the price that has been paid by your type of freedom fighter. There is a slow virus eating away at our country. The majority of people support you.

Do not listen to the CNN, Hollywood crowd. Know that we love you and appreciate the sacrifices you make for us. God will watch over you and protect you. God bless you and pray for the naysayers in our country.

Thanks so much to each of you for protecting the rights and freedoms that the UNITED STATES was founded on. My brother is a LT. COL in the Army and through meeting his friends, I have seen an amazing bond and trust that I only wish many Americans could experience. You have a true brotherhood and respect that truly epitomizes America.

Please know that the majority of Americans are so supportive and 200%behind you. I only wish we could put those that insult our nation and our nations leaders could be on the frontline instead of awesome men/women like you all.

God Bless each and everyone of you and know that we totally support you and cannot wait to welcome you all home!

I don't really know what to say but I hope you come home soon and safely. I teach 8th grade science in Lagrange, GA and my students sure have a lot of questions about what is going on over there and why. Sometimes I don't know what to tell them. I know some of them are scared for their safety over here.

I am thankful for what you are doing.

A Prayer for Our Military

Heavenly Father, today I lift up to You our military– our men and women; our sons and daughters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers. Protect them, O Lord, as they protect our nation and so
much more.

Wrap them in the Blood of Jesus and surround them with their guardian angels. Arm them with Your weapons of war – wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Set watchmen on the towers who are ever ready to sound the alarm. Give them witty inventions and keen insights for overcoming the evil one. Help them, O Lord, to see the enemy for who he really is.

Father, give our defenders of freedom supernatural courage and steadfastness. When the enemy approaches, let that foe see not only our armies arrayed against it, but let this enemy also see the supernatural army of angelic warriors standing shoulder to shoulder with our troops. And at that sight, let the collective heart of the enemy fail and let him call “Retreat.”

I pray even for the perfect function of inanimate objects – trucks and planes, the mighty ships, electrical equipment and so much more– and bless the mechanics who keep them running. And computers, Lord, let them do their silent tasks to perfections.

Keep our President and all those in leadership submitted and in obedience to Your authority and direction. Guide and direct our generals and admirals, new recruits and experienced soldiers as they carry out their sacred mission.

We place this explosive situation in Your hand, O Lord. Your perfection will be done. Let there be a Holy Spirit coup with no blood shed.

I speak Psalm 91 over our troops, and apply the Blood of Jesus to their lives. I pray for the mass salvation of our troops, O Lord, and may they bring the Light of Salvation to the world. Surely they are Ambassadors of Christ.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Let’s believe that those who went into the Armed Services unsaved will come out saved and serving the Lord. That will be the greatest and sweetest victory of all.

Continue to pray the Word of God for America, your nation and against the enemies of the Gospel.

Psalm 91:1-16

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Continue to intercede as the Holy Spirit guides you. Those who know spiritual warfare this is the time to shake yourself, put on your armor and go to battle through prayer coming against the principalities, powers and spiritual wickedness in high places over the areas of conflict.

2 Corinthians 10:4

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

Ephesians 6:12-13

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Pray for the citizens and people of Iraqi that as conflict might come innocent lives will be spared.

Want to write a support letter for our troops? We have set-up a special e-mail address called TroopLetters@aol.com. We will collect letters to send out special editions called "Troop Letters" that contains all of this correspondence for our national subscribers to read, but primarily to send word to the international community that America doesn't exist how CNN and ABC and the Hollywood Socialists paint us. We are a strong and proud nation and we have no problem expressing love for our country, and strong support of our troops and our president, George W. Bush.
