Hot on the heels of the news of the impending departure of Governor Perdue's Deputy Executive Counsel Robert Highsmith yesterday, the Governor has appointed Rebecca Sullivan to replace him.

Since November 2003, Rebecca has served in the Perdue administration as a policy advisor on public safety and general government issues. Prior to joining the Perdue administration, Rebecca practiced labor and employment law at Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson LLP in Atlanta.
