Georgia GOP Launches New Website

ATLANTA – The Georgia Republican Party today launched a new website, designed to provide Georgians up-to-date news and information concerning the party.

“Websites have become critical tools in organizing successful grassroots organizations,” said Alec Poitevint, Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party. “The launch of this website is just one in a series of activities we will complete this year to prepare for the 2004 elections.”

The site features the latest news from the party, information on Republican elected officials, links to GOP campaigns, and contact information for party officials.

“The website will be a one stop shop for GOP activists and supporters,” said Poitevint.

The launch of the new website is just one in a series of activities undertaken by the Georgia GOP to organize grassroots efforts in advance of the 2004 elections. The party will conduct a series of training seminars across Georgia, providing activists the tools they need to continue the momentum built in 2002.

“Last year, we saw the power of grassroots politics firsthand in Georgia,” said Poitevint. “In 2004, we will redouble our efforts, taking our message to all corners of our state.”
