Your comments were interesting and I agree that jury selection needs to be improved. But have you been called for jury duty recently? By the time the lawyers make their selections, there isn't an intelligent person left on the jury. As soon as they see that I have an engineering degree and an MBA, I'm toast as far as sitting on a jury is concerned. The lawyers don't want anyone deliberating their case who thinks logically!

We could improve the jury pool by also requiring that all members prove that they have paid taxes in the past three years!
