Ralph Reed: Nevermind that if you knew then what you knew today…what did you REALLY know then?

by Bill Simon

The Senate Committee on Indian Affairs has completed its investigation on the matter of Abramoff, Scanlon, and Ralph Reed and issued a 373-page report on the matter.

The main question that must be asked of Ralph Reed is simply this: “Ralph: If you were under the assumption that all the money coming from the Indian tribes was “clean” (i.e., not from gambling revenue), then why did you work so hard with Abramoff to ensure that NO MONEY was ever paid directly to Century Strategies, and that it all had to be routed through fake Christian organizations under the control of Michael Scanlon?”

Just a simple question, really. Because, if you KNOW the money is clean, why have it laundered before it gets to you?

The answer, of course, is that Ralph KNEW the money wasn’t “clean” and that is why it had to be laundered.

Ralph Reed…the greatest liar of our modern-day era.

“””Ralph Reed…the greatest liar of our modern-day era.”””

That is the understatement of the year. The justification he uses is pathetic and his followers are akin to the followers of Jim Jones. The lengths they go to defend and absolve him are putrid.

Whatever happened to principle and integrity?

“There are known unknowns and unknown unknowns and if I knew then what I know now, I would have known what you know and said no to them”

Guess Ralph Reed is so busy with lawyers and indictments that he can’t respond to the AJC election information requests:

Today's Deep Thought

One afternoon, when I was about ten, I decided to walk over to the 'wrong side of the tracks.' At first I was a little scared. But then I noticed that the yards were nice, and so were the houses. In fact, most of the houses were better than those on our side of the tracks. A lot better.
