WHAT IF it could be proven to President Donald Trump, with documented facts, events, and  evidence.…what if it could be proven that the person in Georgia who is primarily responsible for the March 2020 Settlement Agreement was not, actually, the SOS, but Ga GOP Chairman David Shafer himself?

What do you think Trump would do if he found out he was actually screwed over by Ga GOP Chairman Shafer?

Do you think Trump would still back Shafer’s reelection?

It’s a serious question. Because, as you well know, President Trump was blindsided many times during his presidency due to all the closet RINO Republicans recommending certain personnel for his Administration who later proved themselves inept and a pain in the rear end to Trump’s work to Make America Great Again.

Remember these people?

Jeff Sessions as AG
Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State
John Bolton as National Security Advisor
Jim “Mad Dog” Mattis as Defense Secretary
Anthony Scaramucci as Press Secretary

and…Chris Wray for the FBI, who has proven himself to be a world-class sewer rat for turning the FBI into, essentially, the American SS (abbreviated as A.S.S.)

In legalese, the evidence to support my claim that David Shafer is actually the one responsible for the way the settlement agreement was written that changed our election laws last year is “incontrovertible.“

In the Spring of 2019, when Shafer ran for GOP Chairman the first time, he promised he would do the following in writing in his Campaign Plan:

“7. Strengthen Our Election Legal Team & Resources

“We cannot allow Stacey Abrams or the Far Left extremists to overturn the results of our free and fair elections. As your next Chairman, I will properly fund a team of our state’s best election attorneys and provide legal resources to defend our winning candidates.”

Well, as it turns out, Shafer did not fund any team of election attorneys.

In fact, in early 2020, during an Executive Committee meeting, when one of the Ga GOP’s EC members suggested to him that they need to start working on preparing the party for the election and for Shafer to form and fund that legal team, Shafer blew it off and did not form any team at all, nor did he prepare for it in the budget.

What would a Ga GOP legal team have been able to do to prevent the disaster of the wording of that settlement agreement? Plenty, actually.

An “intervention” by the Ga GOP is what was missing in the lawsuit the Dems filed in the Fall of 2019 against Georgia’s Secretary of State.  That failure of the Georgia GOP to do that rests 100% on David Shafer’s shoulders.

Why? Because, back in the days when the party had competent legal counsel in place in the war against the Democratic Party of Georgia, as well as the DNC. (e.g., the days of lawyers like Randy Evans, Robert Highsmith, Jr., Anne Lewis, et al.), the party was armed to the teeth in their legal ability to either A) defend against lawsuits filed directly against the party, or B) when they were filed against the Secretary of State, the Ga GOP could intervene to tell the Court why they are qualified to enter the case, what their related interests are to the case, and how they intend to protect their interests.

Any party not named in a lawsuit can bring its interests to the lawsuit by filing what is known as an intervention.

Had a legal team been formed in 2020, as Shafer promised he would do in his 2019 Campaign Plan for Chairman (and as what he was reminded of in early 2020), a team of competent Republican lawyers (there actually are quite a few, some that I know personally) would have checked the case dockets in Georgia, as well as the PACER Federal Case Docket, to see what kind of cases were filed that had to do with the Secretary of State’s Office and related.

And, they would have discovered that ongoing case, and filed an intervention to present and defend the rights and interests of the Georgia Republican Party.  

Competent Republican lawyers would have argued against changing the existing law on verifying the validity of absentee ballot applications.

Yes, competent Republican lawyers would have done that, and they would have prevented that settlement agreement from either a) being agreed to, or b) being worded the way it was worded.

Shafer’s refusal to budget money and/or ask for help from Republican lawyers in this state, is what directly led to the agreement being written as it was…which gave the Democrats  a green light to ruthlessly overwhelm us in the General Election of 2020…all which resulted in the electoral disaster for our state.

Some of the foregoing may concern you as to whether what I say is accurate, right?  Well, let’s hear from the horse’s mouth, shall we?

This is a 2-minute, 13-second recording of David Shafer at an Republican women’s group sometime in the last few weeks.

I have chosen the key points from the recording that I will discuss below for Fact 2 and how what he admits to on tape applies to Shafer being the direct cause of Trump’s loss, and the loss of our two U.S. Senate seats:

Shafer-Recording

0:25 “Brad Raffensperger entered into a settlement agreement with the Democratic Party of Georgia without consulting with the Republican Party of Georgia.”

0:33 “In which he significantly weakened the signature verification for absentee ballots”

1:00 “No one was paying attention as the country was shutting down…the state was shutting down”

1:09 A female audience member asks the question “Why do you think he [Raffensperger] did it?”

1:20 “When I took over as state party chairman 2 years ago, the party was over a half-million dollars in debt….it had been chronically in debt for the last half-decade…they were just pushing the debt down to the next chairman….so we got ourselves out of debt for the first time in half a decade…so today we have a million dollars in the bank.”

2:03: “And Number 2, I trusted the Republican Secretary of State and the Republican Attorney General to not enter into a deal that would significantly undermine the integrity of the election.”

Discussion

The Georgia Constitution stipulates that the Attorney General is responsible for defending any civil action against a State Agency.

When the lawsuit by the Dems got filed in the Fall of 2019, it may have gotten served to the SOS’s legal counsel, who notified the Attorney General’s office of the suit, who then takes over the defense of the lawsuit.

Sometimes, the AG/Department of Law uses in-house personnel to task for a state agency defense gig.  Sometimes, it hires outside counsel.

In this case, it hired two contract lawyers with the firm of Robbins Ross Alloy, Josh Belinfante and Vince Russo.

Both of those attorneys are Republican. Russo worked as the General Counsel of the SoS’s office under Brian Kemp…and, I’m not really sure what legal chops Belinfante brought to the table for this particular case.

I know these two attorneys were involved, and that Russo was the lead attorney, because it is all presented on the last page of this Settlement Agreement.

Do you see Russo’s name at the top on the right side of the last page? That denotes him to be the lead attorney. The lead sentence writer. The lead period and comma placer for the SOS’s office. The lead negotiator with the Dems.

Brad Raffensperger, as SOS, was not involved in the intricacies of constructing sentences, periods, commas, words, etc.  for that settlement.  Lawyers were. Republican lawyers working for the State Attorney General’s office.

For the record, it is the AG’s office that the contract attorneys reported to, not…not really the SOS.

I was not there when the settlement was agreed to, but, I’m semi confident that with Raffensperger not being a lawyer himself, he likely just listened to Vince Russo, Josh Belinfante  and Chris Carr on what the agreement would do….and he went with what the lawyers recommended.

Also…if you look at that last page, Brad Raffensperger’s signature doesn’t appear anywhere on the document as agreeing to it.

I am not here to defend Raffensperger, as I despise the presence of Jordan Fuchs in the position she is in.  She is a rat of the sneakiest kind, and the fact that Raffensperger hasn’t fired her is enough reason for me to work against him.

BUT, back to the agreement…and Vince Russo…as of the Fall of 2019, Vince Russo was the Georgia GOP’s General Counsel.

During the case with the Dems, Russo was working for the AG’s office in defense of the SOS office, and I believe Russo was still serving as general counsel for the Ga GOP at that same time.

That means Vince Russo was working in two roles at the same time…and not protecting the interests of the Georgia GOP.

On Page 3 of the After Action Report/How To Launder Campaign Money for Dummies booklet, produced and paid for by the Georgia Republican Party, Vince Russo is listed as still being the GC of the Ga GOP.

BUT….Shafer has no problem with having Vince Russo continue as General Counsel for the Republican Party of Georgia, does he?  The guy pretty much responsible for screwing over the GOP in Georgia continues to…work for the Ga GOP?

Why doesn’t Shafer have an issue with allowing Russo, the guy who is actually responsible for re-writing/amending the legal language to Georgia Election law, to continue working to “help” the Ga GOP.  Don’t you find that condition…I dunno…weird?

And don’t you find it inexcusable that Shafer spends his stump time crowing about the $1 million the party has in the bank under his leadership while we have no wins to speak of in this state?

We have no wins because Shafer opted to “save money” by not investing it in the legal team he promised he would do in 2019. 

That’s like…Portland defunding their police department, and then wondering why their downtown looks like a Somalian war zone?

Shafer defunded the Ga GOP’s legal department…and we are screwed in this country for, at minimum, the next 2 years.

Serious question for you: Which would you rather have right now, $1 million in the State GOP’s bank accounts, OR our two U.S. Senators sitting in D.C., maintaining a Republican Majority in the U.S. Senate because they got reelected?

Hmmm…tough choice there, huh Kiddos…?

I referenced the “After Action Report” in the previous discussion. I have gone thru the 18-page booklet now. And the count is 29.

What is “29?”  That is the number of times that “Chairman David Shafer” or “David Shafer” in name is mentioned.

Upon reading all that and being dazzled by all the numbers…well, you would think we really accomplished something in the last cycle, right?

We lost, Folks. We lost the ENTIRE freaking country when we lost those two U.S. Senate seats.

Here’s a baby lie that is in the booklet: On Page 6, the last sentence reads as “Chairman Shafer’s official Twitter account grew to 78,000 followers.”

Well, when you visit his Twitter account, the number of followers he shows is 53.7k…53,700 Followers, not “78,000.”

Are we to believe that nearly 25,000 followers decided to stop following Shafer in the last few months?  Or, is it more likely that he never had those followers to start with?

Now, on a more jarring note, in looking at the booklet, and all those mentions of “Chairman David Shafer”, I saw the publication for what it really is: Using Ga GOP funds for illegal campaigning purposes.  (I’m not going to bore you with the law at this juncture.)

BUT, what I did do is issue this Tweet about the booklet, and looped in Shafer and his “Team Shafer”:  https://twitter.com/politicalv…  That was on May 18th.

As you can see, there is no public response to it.

However, Shafer did respond to me in Text (Shafer’s comments are in Purple).

Note his last statement to me at the bottom: “Except that it was not a campaign flyer. It was prepared before I decided to run and does not even mention my re-election. It also lists Jason and every other member of the State Executive Committee.”

Yes, Jason Shepherd’s name was mentioned once in conjunction with him being the Cobb County GOP Chair.

Shafer’s name is mentioned 29 times inside the cover, and then twice on the cover in that contrived statement from Trump.

“Contrived” because those were not the exact same words as Trump presented in his actual endorsement on March 24, 2021.

Trump’s endorsement did not have the words “…and raising record amounts of money” contained within it. Check it out, Folks. That makes this booklet a campaign puff piece for Shafer.

But, that’s not all. The most critical thing is the actual timing of Shafer’s decision to run for reelection. It wasn’t in March when he decided.

It was February 9th, on the John Fredericks Radio Show. There is a link buried on Facebook, but this is the graphic image someone sent me of Shafer’s appearance, and announcement he was running again.

So, if it was February 9, 2021, in which Shafer decided to run again, then…that would mean, based on his text to me, that the booklet that “…was prepared before I decided to run…” had to have been prepared prior to February 9th, right?

Except, how can a booklet, prepared before February 9th, have a photo in it from a March 16th appearance Shafer did on the Laura Ingraham Show?

NOW…when you turn to Page 14 of the booklet, why, I declare! There is the exact snapshot that Shafer tweeted on March 16.

How could that be if the booklet was prepared before he announced his reelection on February 9th as he claimed to me in text?

Is Shafer a Time-Traveler? Did those new UFO things chat with Shafer on February 8th, then zip forward in time to March 16th to snap a photo, then dash back in time to hand the photo over to the graphic artists putting the Shafer Campaign Puff Piece Paid for By the Georgia Republican Party together?

You see, David Shafer has a very challenging time with the truth. Especially when he is actively engaged in breaking contribution laws of Georgia.

Also…his campaign has sent out an email from one of his supporters, Tracy Cullo. Well, it’s not really Tracy controlling the  email account used for those messages, it’s either Shafer himself, or one of his supporters.

In any case, the Cullo email claims that “President Trump personally asked Chairman Shafer to seek a second term…”

No, Trump didn’t “personally ask” Shafer to seek a second term.  

That is a blatant lie put out by the Shafer campaign.

The proof that it didn’t happen is that when I asked “Tracy” what “she” was talking about, “she” responded with a copy of the endorsement by Trump of Shafer ON March 24, 2021, and a copy of his signature and a note.

Again, Shafer announced on February 9th he was running, and nowhere in that interview was a statement that “Trump personally asked me to run.”  Just more lies from Shafer, like he appears to engage in as he gets older.

So, to wrap this up, Shafer has a problem with the truth on many things, not the least of which when it comes to admitting fault as to WHO is responsible for Trump losing the State, and the two U.S. Senators losing their reelection.

State GOP Chairmen who mismanage party resources that cause the LOSS of two U.S. Senate seats, along with the State’s Electoral Votes for President, do not deserve reelection in any universe!

And, if you are naive enough to reelect him, your stomach is going to be hurting on the night of November 8, 2022 as you see election returns…
