Fred Thompson’s Response to Michael Moore’s Request for An Interview

FUNNY stuff!
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker. It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

I was rather shocked by Fred Thompson’s response to Michael Moore. Documentary films like Michael Moore produces should cause lawmakers in office and candidates who propose to represent the public to say, “Is there anything to this that might need correcting for the good of the nation.” A head-in-the-sand approach to pressing problems like healthcare leads only to a status quo that in healthcare will be devastating. All candidates for presidency should dig deep and identify root causes of the deficiencies they find, and take bold steps to correct . I have been in a medical management position for over 25 years; I am often asked for my opinion of what’s wrong with our system.
There’s not enough space here for me to elaborate but I can summarize: The problem of escalating costs and deteriorating quality can be linked to two major deficiencies in too many of our physician healthcare providers: Accountability and Integrity.
