It’s Official: Ralph Reed Gets Served With A Subpoena By The Feds

by politicalvine

Rumors have it that Ralph Reed and Grover Norquist have been subpoened in connection with an ever-expanding federal probe into the illegal money laundering and influence-peddling fallout of Jack Abramoff.

As reported by National Journal on Monday, February 13, the subpoena targets the U.S. Family Network, an organization suspected of laundering money for bribery deals with Tom DeLay and others. Reed and Norquist were included in the subpoena due to, we suspect, their involvement in laundering other funds on behalf of the Indian clients of Abramoff.

This should not come as a suprise to anyone! This ship has been sinking for a couple of months now. I don’t think the entire Republican party should go down with it!

    i agree with Nick C.

pushing any one particular person’s views (to the exclusion of everyone else’s views), or pushing any one particular special interest group’s views (to the exclusion of every other group’s hopes, dreams and aspirations) is BAD for the Republican Party of the great State of Georgia.

is it worth “everything” to risk the Re-Election of Governor Sonny Perdue? to push the agenda of a smallish sub-group of the Georgia GOP?

in my opinion, the answer to this question is a resounding NO!

Maybe I have been too busy with other projects,,,, but why is this not front page news in any media or has it?

  4. Bill Simon Says:

It was not “front-page” news, but it was printed in an AJC article by Jim Galloway last week in the METRO Section of the AJC.

Today's Deep Thought

One thing I always felt bad about was kicking Grandma in the head with my football shoes on. But what was her head doing right by the football like that? And how did the football get in her bed?
