More Lies from Ralph To Be Exposed Soon?

Bill Simon, Monday, February 13th, 2006

The investigation into Ralph’s lobbying of Texas officials is getting closer to the bone for Ralph. Here’s the excerpt from the blog:

Newt Gingrich and Ralph Reed: Holding Hands…Making All Kinds of Plans…

politicalvine, Sunday, January 29th, 2006

Now, the IRONY to all of this is that we have a serial liar like Ralph Reed (“I didn’t know my money came from Indian casinos”…”I am not a lobbyist, so I don’t have to register”…”I was duped just like all of the other Christians were by my friends Jack Abramoff and Grover Norquist”…) being highly praised by an adulterer/liar like Newt Gingrich (who apparently thinks Ralph will help him get elected President), all on the same day a bill that promotes the posting of the Ten Commandments on government buildings in Georgia gets dropped. The irony is just too sweet.

Ralph Reed To Casey Cagle: I’m Gonna Get You, Sucka!

politicalvine, Tuesday, January 24th, 2006

Rumors have it that the Ralph Reed Campaign for Lt. Governor is laying the groundwork for an all out offensive against Casey Cagle, his primary opponent. According to an AP story, Reed stated “his campaign will soon turn to defining the differences between him and Cagle.” There are also rumors that the Reed campaign has […]

Will Tom Price Run Straight Into The Hatch Act?

politicalvine, Saturday, January 21st, 2006

Rumors have it that Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) has his reelection campaign humming right along…straight out of his Cobb County (federal) district office.

Rumors abound about how his district personnel, upon waking-up to a challenge-candidate out of Cherokee County, have spent the last several months shaking-down businesses and associations and encouraging them that if they don’t block John Konop from making any headway, they will be “cut-off” from any help from (and, we quote) “The Congressman.”

The Fall of The House of Ralph (Reed)

politicalvine, Friday, January 20th, 2006

Rumors have it that 9 members of Lt. Governor candidate Ralph Reed’s Steering Committee recently flipped sides in the race.

The nine were listed on Reed’s big list released last spring. However, they recently sent this letter to the Reed campaign:

“As you are aware, our names were listed as members of the Reed for Lt. Governor Steering Committee released by your campaign to the news media. We write today to request our names be removed from that list. Please know that our decision to support Senator Casey Cagle’s campaign is in no way an attempt to undermine or criticize you. Rather, we believe that Casey’s combination of experience, electability, dedication

Pat Robertson & Ray Nagin: Twin Sons of Different Mothers

Bill Simon, Tuesday, January 17th, 2006

First, it was Pat Robertson proclaiming that Israel Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s stroke two weeks ago was caused by (and, I quote) “God’s punishment for Sharon trying to divide the land of Israel.” Now, it’s Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans proclaiming that God sent the hurricanes to his city and the Gulf Coast because […]

Ralph Reed: Guilty of Bribery

Bill Simon, Sunday, January 15th, 2006

What matters is, Ralph Reed took a bribe of $4.1 million+ in Indian gambling money to manipulate other Christian conservatives into thinking it was a worthwhile cause to fight against the Alabama lottery, new casinos in Louisiana, and any other threat to his ultimate client (that being an Indian tribe that wanted to protect its territory in the gambling arena). Unbeknownst to them, all they were doing was wiping-out competition in favor of (pretty much) granting a monopoly to one tribe’s business interests.
