Karen Handel Has A Plan, Not Sound Bites

by Bill Simon

From today’s press release:

Dear Friends,

In a few hours I will unveil my extensive plan for elections reform in Georgia . My plan is the first and only comprehensive vision to make our elections more secure and increase confidence. As a valued supporter of my campaign for Secretary of State, I wanted you to be one of the first to see it.

Reforming elections in Georgia is all about the BASICs. That is Ballot Accountability, System Integrity, and citizen Confidence. My entire plan is attached for your review. Several of the key components are:

Establish a Truly Centralized, Fully-Integrated Voter Registration System.

Provide uniformity in the voter registration and identification
qualifications.

Ensure that only U.S. Citizens are participating in our elections.

Provide for a practical approach for Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail, audits and software

It is my hope that you will take a few minutes and review the plan and vision that I am offering. As always, I welcome your feedback and input as we work to make Georgia ’s election system a nationwide model.

– Karen Handel
Candidate for Georgia’s Secretary of State

Thank you for taking a few minutes to review my plan, and as always, for your valued support.

Handel continues to show why she should be SoS. She understands the role of SoS, and has worked with the local elections officals to develop a detailed plan to ensure the intergrity of the voting process.

[…] In fact, our friend Bill Simon has the news up. Go read it there and we’ll get on to Karen’s call later today (sorry to Ms. Handel for not having written about this soon. Until I find someone to pay me to blog politically, some times things have to be delayed) […]

    Great comprehensive plan.

Today's Deep Thought

When Rick told me he was having trouble with his wife, I had to laugh. Not because of what he said, but because of a joke I thought of. I told him the joke, but he didn't laugh very much. Some friend he is.
