If Bill Clinton or Al Gore or Insert Dem President’s Name Here was President of the United States at this time, would Republicans be just as defensive of the President Dem’s actions on wiretapping as they are now for President Bush?

The whole town laughed at my great-grandfather, just because he worked hard and saved his money. True, working at the hardware store didn't pay much, but he felt it was better than what everybody else did, which was go up to the volcano and collect the gold nuggets it shot out everyday. It turned out he was right. After forty years, the volcano petered out. Everybody left town and the hardware store went broke. Finally he decided to collect gold nuggets too, but there weren't many left by then. Plus, he broke his leg and the doctor's bills were real high.

If the 2000 election had gone the other way, leaving everything the same…..
Republicans would be shouting from the rooftops about the tyrrany being imposed by the irredeemably evil President Gore. He’s not after al-Qaeda, he spying on pro-life and NRA advocates. It’s all a high-tech Watergate! What about the rule of law?! What about FISA?!
The GOP capacity for hypocrisy is truly limitless. Mine is not. Violating FISA protocols is wrong, whether it’s done by a Democrat or a Republican.
