These Guys Have The Right Idea To Bring The Cobb GOP Party Back Together Again…

by PV

The 4 years of Anthony-Scott Hobbs’ “leadership” (sic) of the Cobb County Republican Party has served no one well except for the ego of Hobbs himself.

But, looking toward the future, a new, fresh-smelling breeze is about to blow across the plains and clear the air in Cobb County…which has had an atmosphere of acidic, dank gloom for far too many years.

Two new leaders, Scott Johnson and Bob Koncerak (KON-SUR-AK), have set-up a Website to promote their leadership team for a new, positive direction for the Cobb GOP. Check it out at:

  1. John Konop Says:

Scott Johnson and Bob Koncerak would do a great job leading the Cobb GOP!!!!

  2. Maurice Atkinson Says:

Couldn’t have a better team. These men are competent and organized. All eyes are on Cobb County.

    Congrats Scott, Bob and Andre.

  3. John Konop Says:

BTW sorry I did not mention Andre!

  4. Noah T. W. Givens Says:

    Hey,
What about 2nd Vice-Chair Candidate Meyers. I’ve seen him around a LOT longer than Andre’ – as in at least a couple of years! …AND he has been responsible for really working up the membership rolls at the grass roots. What I do not see is Frank Moleskey.
Let’s not ‘dis’ those what brung us to the dance. 8-?

  5. Bill Simon Says:

    Noah,

I do not know Mr. Meyers, nor was I aware he was running. But, you can promote him here all you wish.

  6. Noah T. W. Givens Says:

Come to think of it, Al Meyer’s first name is Al….? (isn’t that redundant?) Anyway I have never been good at names. Al runs an honest website also that is a Cobb newsletter though he keeps his own opinions more in keeping with a concerned nephew than a Dutch Uncle. It’s nice to know that we have both albeit I’ll betcha not many folks out there in newsletterland know of Al’s efforts… If they did He wouldn’t be left out of the mentionables.
He’s hardly a tall drink of water – more like the fountain of hope…(he’s almost as short as I am- maybe shorter) and beleve me, I know my share of squirts & drips.
What seems to have impressed me most has been that if something needed doing; there was All Available Al… even if he was all alone in the doing.
Naughty, naughty folks… shame upon you for leaving out the Little guy with the great BIG smile, talent, heart, effort, & all that other good stuff.

Today's Deep Thought

I scrambled to the top of the precipice where Nick was waiting. 'That was fun,' I said. 'You bet it was,' said Nick. 'Let's climb higher.' 'No,' I said. 'I think we should be heading back now.' 'We have time,' Nick insisted. I said we didn't, and Nick said we did. We argued back and forth like that for about 20 minutes, and then finally decided to head back. I didn't say it was an interesting story.
