The Daily Show RIPS Cynthia McKinney Up!

by Bill Simon

Tonight’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart ripped Black- Female-Capitol-Cop-Hitting-Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney up and down her backside.

Titling the segment “Diary of A Mad Black Woman,” Stewart lampooned the women at least 4 different ways and called her “insane.”

If you get a chance to TIVO it or record it in some other way, tune your station to The Comedy Channel at either 10:00 AM on Wednesday morning or 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening.

Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Reed, both a drag on their respective parties.

We all know some Democrats are not as loony as Cynthia, but that does not keep Republicans from presenting her as the post child for the Modern Democrat party. As long as she is off the intellectual reservation, anything she does will only drive more people toward the GOP. Her primary faults are arrogance, blaming everyone except herself, and demonizing her opponents. Sound like someone else?

Like Cynthia McKinney, Dr. Reed may not have committed a crime. However every time he tries to explain his actions he only puts more of his foot in his mouth. He did not know where the millions of dollars came from. He did not know his friends would commit crimes that would send them to jail for 6 years. The media made him do it or the old Bart Simpson “No one saw me and you cannot prove anything”. To moderates in the middle this just sounds just like the kind of excuses Cynthia is offering. And like Congresswomen McKinney, the public views their half answers as arrogance. For the good of both parties they need to resign and let honest people take.

Today's Deep Thought

One afternoon, when I was about ten, I decided to walk over to the 'wrong side of the tracks.' At first I was a little scared. But then I noticed that the yards were nice, and so were the houses. In fact, most of the houses were better than those on our side of the tracks. A lot better.
