As a former member of this Battalion in Vietnam, and which has been recently deployed to Iraq, I am requesting that you take the time to send a care package to these guys.
A small package of sundry items has been and would be a morale boost. Our military's morale has been constantly under attack from Kerry and his mouthpieces.
This unit is organic to the 1st Cavalry Division. Suggested items as follows: beef jerky, cashew nuts, AA batteries, powdered Gatorade mix, sunflower seeds, US newspapers (Washington Post, USA Today, etc.), magazines, razors, chewing gum, hard candy, ground coffee, lip balm, sunscreen, Tylenol, aspirin, sinus\allergy medication, skin creams.
No alcohol, porn, or tobacco.
